Flow of learning


Session 1: Understanding myself: My thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Key insights/learning outcomes:

·        In each situation, we can have one or more thoughts & feelings. Changes and key milestones also leave an impact on us.

·        In each situation, our thoughts and feelings may differ or be similar to others' thoughts and feelings. Let's not assume.


Session 2: Accepting myself: Embracing our challenges and strengths.

Key insights/learning outcomes:

·        Being different is Ok!

·        How to be open for seeking help

·        Recognizing the impact of our definitions and beliefs - in our decisions/choices

·        Difference between Experiences, Facts, & Judgements

·        Changing labels we give ourselves


Session 3: Use Empathy to build connections

Key insights/learning outcomes:

·        What is empathy?

·        Practicing empathy in everyday life

·        Recognizing intent and impact assumptions.

·        Using beginner’s mindset

Dr. Shweta Verma is a social work professional and a social entrepreneur. As the CEO and Co-founder of Ginny’s Planet, Shweta is leading the innovative initiative on DEI for children in India. She has been designing and conducting special workshops for children since 2019. Shweta has worked on issues of mental health, disability rights, gender, child rights, post-disaster interventions, conflict, and resilience for the last 22 years. Through Ginny's Planet, Shweta designs and curates workshops and products that trigger a change in mindsets of children as well as grownups.
