Who are the experts leading the workshop on Poetry For All?

Sangeeta is the Co-Founder of Aate Baate Tales with Vinita Krishna and uses stories, art, and expression in many forms to engage people & bring change! Sangeeta puts into practice the values imbibed from her education [Psychology, Special Education, Mental Health Counselling]. Sangeeta has led organizations/initiatives involving education, literacy development, integrated arts, and special education. Her methods have worked wonders in her nonprofit sector work with children, teachers, and parents.

Vinita Krishna expresses her love for children in many ways. She is a writer, storyteller, and a special educator. Her special tactile books have won her National and International acclaim. She is co-founder of Aate Bate Tales & is also the author of the latest storybook of Ginny.

Aate Baate Tales is an audio project dedicated to the love of reading and to the magic of the author’s words. The complete, un-adapted reading of selected story books in each episode will create a captivating experience as children listen, imagine, get curious, and be creative.

Delivered by experts from diverse fields, our Summer Workshop Series is the perfect balance of learning, engagement, and fun. It is a chance for children to experiment, be creative, build confidence, and be challenged to achieve different skills in a low-stress, enjoyable learning environment.

How big is the workshop venue? Can children with disabilities attend?

The workshops are taking place in a well-lit, clean hall of Theatre Kunzum, at M Block Market, GK2, New Delhi. This venue can easily accommodate 100 people. We are keeping the number much lower per workshop so that children have enough space to move around and work.

We welcome all children to join, including children with disabilities.

There is a lift/elevator to reach Theatre Kunzum once you enter the building. However, we apologize for the fact that there are 2-4 steps at the entry which are a barrier for a wheelchair user. The toilet attached to Theatre Kunzum is also not accessible for wheelchair users.

We hope these barriers will be overcome when we do this event again.
